Board Of Directors

The Florida Irrigation Society Board of Directors consists of 17 voting members from the Florida Irrigation Society membership. The Officers for the 2012 year are President, Matthew Eaton; Vice President, Tom Super; Secretary, Spencer Phillips; Treasurer, Jeff Davidson; and Immediate Past President Kevin Cavaioli. The Directors are as follows Tom Allen (2012), Randy Heimsoth (2012 - 2013), Steven Jenkins (2012 – 2013), Adam W. Jones (2012 – 2013), Larry Lentz (2011 – 2012), Paul “Skeets” Mez (2011 – 2012), John Miragliotta (2011 - 2012), Kurt Thompson (2012 – 2013), Mary Shedd-McCready (2012), Jeff Snyder (2012 – 2013), Andy Voelz (2012 - 2013), and Brian Walker (2011 -2012).

Officers nominations are presented at the annual Summer General Membership Meeting, and ballots are mailed out to all voting members. Officers are elected for a one year term; however they are allowed to run for a second term. To qualify to be elected as an Officer the nominee must have been on the State Board of Directors for two (2) consecutive years.

Director nominations are present at the annual Winter General Membership Meeting, and ballots are handed out to voting members only and returned to the Executive Administrator at the meeting. To qualify to be elected as a Director the nominee must be a voting member, and the nominee is decided upon the Nominating Committee.
