Born and raised in Muncie, IN and graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Public and Environmental Affairs. Upon graduation from IU, worked for Nike, Inc. in Detroit and in charge of the Nike GrassRoots Basketball programs (Camps, Clinics, Events, Fundraisers, Game-Day Activities). Moved to Washington D.C. and headed the operations crew for The Global Young Leaders Conferences (GYLC), and later promoted to the operations crew at the National Youth Leader Forums (NYLF) in New York City. From there, transferred into the field of public education for the next 8 years, and held the Chairman’s position of the Mathematics Department in Sarasota County. Also coached Track and Field and Varsity Football during this time. Entered the world of Irrigation in June of 2007 as a part of the Toro Team, became a member of the Florida Irrigation Society shortly thereafter, and appointed as the Chairman of the Education Committee for the Tampa Bay Chapter in 2008.
